Leaving Certificate or Leaving Certificate Applied or LCVP or FETAC/QQI Level 4 Award. Equal consideration will be given to mature applicants (those aged over 23) who do not meet these entry requirements.

Course Description
This course is designed for students who are interested in a career in the area of Irish heritage and culture and as an access course to Arts degree programmes at NUI colleges. Students on this course gain an understanding of Irish archaeology and local history and an appreciation of Irish culture and heritage. The development of research skills is an important element of this course.
