Leaving Certificate or Leaving Certificate Applied or LCVP or FETAC/QQI Level 4 Award. Equal consideration will be given to mature applicants (those aged over 23) who do not meet these entry requirements.

Course Description
This course is designed to give students a firm foundation in the skills required in the electronics and engineering sectors. While the course covers many of the theoretical aspects of electronics, students also gain hands-on experience in the use of the latest technologies particularly those involving the use of electronics and digital electronics. In electronic work, engineers provide a wide variety of products used in the modern world. These include personal computers, digital televisions, medical devices, heating control systems, games consoles and mobile phones.
